Waste of a Day

We've been having some email issues at work, and in an attempt to fix it (not by me), it took me 15 minutes to open Word because nearly all of my fonts were corrupted and need to be removed. Word was kind enough to provide me with a notice on each individual font. Of course I had to ok each message to banish it before it would actually open a blank document.

Grrrrrrrrr!

My cup of anger runneth over today!

Channel the anger. Got a project that needs some butt kicking? Go for it! Use the dark side of the Force for good!

Ugh. I'm so frustrated with IT right now it's hard to concentrate. On top of that I came in early today to get some stuff done and I haven't been able to fully use my compter all day.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

To hell with my Pollyanna pap from earlier. What a crappy day. Will you at least get to have a weekend? A nice relaxing one? Since you're dealing with such a load of BS, you need one right away.

Tomorrow I have to pull a shift at the library and then go to the in-laws for my brother-in-law's birthday. Sunday, I'm sleeping in.

Sleeping in - what a wonderful thought!

Hey are you on my network?

just kidding, we have had a bad time of the print server this week and it has become a joke. Well maybe in a few weeks it will be funny.

Vince, ah yes, sleeping in. I don't think I've had a chance to really sleep in since Logan was an infant.

Paige, welcome! Maybe we are on the same network. I know a lot of people that work in one aspect of IT or another and I know they work hard, so I try not to complain, but damn this supposed "upgrade" has had things screwed up seven ways from Sunday from the minute they did it.

IT are really not faceless, soulless minions of evil and orthodoxy. (Although IT, of which I am a member, has screwed up VPN for all remote employees at my company. Sigh.) They are just prone to pulling the trigger first and testing later... silly geeks.

I wish you a relaxing weekend!
